Software Engineer · 10+ years

I build web & mobile products that actually ship.

I take products end to end — the interface, the API, the authentication, the infrastructure, and the release. Apps I've built are live on the Apple App Store and Google Play, running on AWS.

What I do

Three things, done properly

I work across the stack rather than handing off at the edges — which is usually why the thing gets finished.

  1. 01

    Web Development

Responsive, accessible front ends and the services behind them. Component-driven UI, predictable state, and performance budgets that hold up once real traffic arrives.

    • JavaScript
    • TypeScript
    • React
    • Node.js
    • REST APIs
  2. 02

    Mobile Development

Apps built for both platforms and carried all the way to the stores: build signing, provisioning, store review, staged rollouts, and the fixes that come after release.

    • React Native
    • Swift
    • Kotlin
    • iOS
    • Android
  3. 03

    Cloud & Deployment

The infrastructure the product sits on — compute, storage, databases, and the pipelines that move changes into production without a war room.

    • AWS
    • S3 & EC2
    • Lambda
    • Docker
    • CI/CD

I'm documenting the rest of what I've shipped — the problem, the stack decisions, and what I'd do differently. The code lives on GitHub.

About

Ten years of shipping, not slides

I'm a software engineer with more than 10 years building software for the web and for phones. I work across the stack, but the backend is where I spend most of my time — APIs, authentication servers, and the services that hold a product together.

At Ranyan, the company I work for, I built and maintain the backend of a janitorial management system that Ranyan owns and operates. It ships as both a web app and a mobile app; I built the API, the authentication server, and the MCP the app talks to. Facial recognition is used to verify users. I've also built websites for financial businesses, and pipelines that collect sensor data and turn it into dashboards.

I work on projects from small through to enterprise scale. I run the AWS infrastructure the products sit on, and I've taken apps through App Store and Play Store review.
